What’s happening on the Hill in March?

General Info:
A petition is being raised requesting a meeting between SHAG members and the Bassendean Council to discuss traffic issues related to a) Success Road/Lord Street intersection and b) Thompson Street/Great Eastern Hwy intersection.

Success Hill that neighborhood between Lord Street, Guildford Road and the Swan River having as a major feature the Success Hill Reserve, shown above. The Park has three sections the formal with its displays of Aboriginal culture and gatherings in this area, a natural bushland section and a river frontage with access.

Historically it was a place where the various Noongar tribes could meet in peace as well as one where early settlers stopped to collect water from a spring. Today a peaceful haven away from the hustle and bustle of life.
